Last Friday, we enjoyed a very special outing in El Vendrell with our residents. We took a guided tour to learn more about Pau Casals, along with the history of other musicians from the town.

We began with a detailed explanation of Pau Casalslife, his family, his career, and his contributions to music and culture. We learned about the importance of his wife and family in his musical journey and how they supported him every step of the way. We also learned about other musicians who have been part of El Vendrell’s history, and we were able to understand how music has always been a fundamental element of town life.

Later, we visited the church, where we had the opportunity to listen to our organ, an exceptional instrument that retains more than 90% of its original parts from 250 years ago. This experience was very enjoyable and moving for our residents.

It was a day full of culture, music, and memories, allowing us to share special and enriching moments with our residents.
