POLICLÍNICA COMARCAL DEL VENDRELL (PCV) es un centro sanitario privado cuyo origen se remonta a 1941. Nace como centro de pacientes agudos, pero amplia su cobertura asistencial a los pacientes crónicos en el año 1985, con su incorporación al Programa “Vida als anys” de la Generalitat de Catalunya, convirtiéndose en centro proveedor del CatSalut y Centro Sociosanitario de referencia de la Comarca del Baix Penedés.
PCV se configura así, como un centro polivalente de salud, con una capacidad multiprofesional y mutifuncional para dar cobertura a las necesidades tanto hospitalarias como crónicas de la población de la comarca del Baix Penedès y su entorno.
Para ello PCV dispone para atender a los “pacientes crónicos” de más de un centenar de camas sociosanitarias, además de 24 camas de Residencia Asistida y Unidad de Hospital de Día. Para atender a los pacientes agudos, PCV dispone de una cuarentena de camas, todas ellas exteriores, con baño propio, equipamiento clínico y de gases, TV, aire acondicionad y Wifi.
La constante apuesta de PCV por la búsqueda de la excelencia profesional y su formación continua, las inversiones realizadas en equipamientos sanitarios de última generación y tecnología, le ha valido el reconocimiento de la Certificación ISO 9001:2008 que periódicamente renovamos.
En este sentido, la ampliación de la cartera de servicios asistenciales prestados por PCV ha sido constante a lo largo del tiempo, a las que no me referiré en aras a la brevedad, pero os invito a descubrirlas en la nueva página Web de PCV.
