El pasado mes de octubre se les administró a los pacientes del Sociosanitario de la PCV la tercera dosis de vacuna COVID. La EMA (Agencia Europea del Medicamento) ha avalado su uso y se ha estipulado que los primeros grupos de edad en recibir la vacuna de refuerzo sean los mayores de 70 años, siempre que hayan pasado seis meses desde el momento en que se haya completado la pauta vacunal.
La Comisión de Salud Pública ha propuesto que a partir de noviembre sean tributarios de recibir la vacuna de refuerzo los mayores de 65 años siempre que hayan transcurrido seis meses desde su inmunización total. Se espera que entre finales de mes y el mes entrante, los profesionales de la Policlínica Comarcal reciban la tercera dosis del Covid-19.
