On November 18, the 6th Pediatrics Conference took place in the Dr. Isaac Contel Auditorium of the Policlínica Comarcal del Vendrell, which on this occasion was about the “Update in Primary Care Pediatrics: Dermatology”.
The conference was attended by renowned experts in the field such as Dr. Manel Enrubia, President of the Section of Primary Care of the Catalan Society of Pediatrics, Dr. Ramón Grimalt, dermatologist, tenured professor and coordinator of dermatology at the International University of Catalonia, member of the Spanish Pediatric Dermatology Group and Dr. Eulàlia Baselga, a pediatric dermatologist, responsible for the Pediatric Dermatology Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, director and creator of the Hemangiomas and Vascular Lesions Unit of the same hospital.
During the day, interesting topics were discussed such as: the usefulness of the dermatoscope in the primary consultation, the attitude of the pediatrician in front of children with vascular malformations and hemangiomas or the infant with “spots” on the skin.
A session that was a success thanks to the high number of attendees who gathered at the Dr. Isaac Contel Auditorium to participate in the conference.
