La logopedia en Policlinica Comarcal del Vendrell es la especialidad que se dedica a trabajar en la prevención, el diagnóstico y tratamiento de los trastornos de la comunicación, ya sean del habla o del lenguaje, la deglución, la audición y la voz tanto en adultos como en niños.
Las problemáticas más frecuentemente atendidas son:
• Trastornos del habla: dislalias, conciencia fonológica.
• Tonicidad muscular, respiración y deglución en pacientes con malformaciones orales (disglosias)
• Estimulación del lenguaje en las primeras etapas de la infancia.
• Trastornos de la fluidez (disfemias, taquifemias, tartamudez).
• Alteraciones de la voz (disfonías).
• Alteraciones del habla y de la deglución en enfermedades neurodegenerativas ( enfermedad de Parkinson, Corea de Huntington, etc.).
• Estimulación lingüística específica en deterioro cognitivo y demencias.
• Trastornos del lenguaje: retraso del lenguaje y Trastorno del desarrollo del lenguaje TDL.
• Trastornos de la audición (pérdidas leves, hipoacúsias).
• Alteraciones miofuncionales: deglución atípica, disfagia, déficit en el control de la saliva, hipotonía orofacial
• Alteraciones del habla y/o lenguaje adquiridas por afectaciones neurológicas (disartrias, afasias).
• Trastornos en el lenguaje escrito (dislexias, disgrafias, disortografies).
La logopedia es una disciplina sanitaria que se encarga de aplicar tratamientos con el objetivos de paliar las dificultades que se presentan en las áreas de respiración, voz, deglución, postura, habla, lenguaje, comunicación. Así como aquellos trastornos que se produzcan en la lectoescritura y a prendizaje.
Las principales técnicas de intervención utilizadas en éste servicio de logopedia son las siguientes:
• Técnicas de relajación.
• Técnicas cognitivas.
• Técnicas de respiración.
• Praxias orales que fomentan un buen tono, postura y funcionalidad en la articulación y la deglución.
• Terapia miofuncional.
• Implantación de sistemas alternativos o aumentativos de comunicación
• Técnicas vocales (voz).
• Técnicas que favorecen la conciencia fonológica.
• Estimulación lèxica/semàntica y morfosintàctica de forma multimudal.
• Técnicas que favorecen la descodificación en lectura, la velocidad, la precisión y la comprensión lectora.
